i wanted to keep things simple and let the photos speak for this layout. the feature spans 3 spreads instead of 2 due to the length of the interview (which i already deeply edited). the first jump is the one with the drop cap. the photos are interchangeable - at the moment i can't decide which ones i like the best. (showing the feature opener as a reference)

was able to fit the entire interview on one spread. liking the spreads that only have one large photo in the background, but feel like it's necessary to show a photo of tom. the layouts are essentially the same - the difference being my indecision as to which photo to use.
